Dresden/Riesa, August 26, 2025. A major success for FERALPI STAHL: At a ceremony held on the premises of SiemensEnergy in Dresden, the Riesa-based steel company was honored as the "Best Training Company 2025" in Saxony's metal and electrical industry in the category for companies with 500 to 1,000 employees.

Dr. Jörg Brückner, President of Sachsenmetall, and Saxony's Minister President Michael Kretschmer presented the award to General Manager Uwe Reinecke, Director of Human Resources Kai Holzmüller, Iven Lenk, who is responsible for recruitment and development, and Marcus Kahl, Head of Initial Training and Continuing Education at the Qualification Center Region Riesa GmbH.

"This award is a great recognition of the commitment of our entire training team. It shows that we are on the right track with our strategy of early skills development, and it is also an incentive for us to continue consistently along this path," explains Uwe Reinecke.

Kai Holzmüller also emphasizes: "Our training is practical and future-oriented. We invest specifically in our future talent. And we also score points with our wide range of benefits – from a modern working environment and a guarantee of employment to extensive development opportunities."

In addition to the best training companies, outstanding trainees and graduates of dual study programs were also honored. "Maybe our trainees will be on stage next time. They definitely have the potential !" adds Holzmüller. FERALPI STAHL recently welcomed 25 new trainees in Riesa.
