On Saturday, 17 August 2024, the castle park in Gröba was once again transformed into a place full of joy and shared experience: Over 2,500 visitors flocked to Bella Gröba, our popular family festival, which was a complete success again this year. In glorious weather, guests were treated to a varied programme with something for everyone, With a colorful mix of exciting attractions, fun hands-on stations and plenty of good humour, there was something for everyone.
The numerous stations invited visitors to join in and discover. Whether it was games of skill, creative workshops or sporting challenges - there was plenty for the whole family to experience.
A special innovation this year was the Steel-Challenge - an interactive challenge that was designed as a Feralpi Olympics and comprised three exciting stations. Skill, concentration and sporting ambition were put to the test at the various stations. Each station offered a unique task that was both fun and challenging. We are particularly proud of the fact that all the materials for the stations were made from our own products.
The boat trips on the Elbe were particularly popular. With the support of the THW, our guests were able to experience Riesa from the water. Thanks to the lively participation, donations were collected that will benefit the Riesa animal shelter - a great campaign that was enthusiastically accepted by our visitors with the support of the Rotary Club.
On stage, Uta Bresan once again led the guests through the varied programme with charm and good humor. She presented a colorful mixture of singing, music and entertaining show interludes that made the guests laugh and marvel. A special highlight was the visit of Minister President Michael Kretschmer, who mingled with the crowd, tried out some of the attractions himself and appeared on stage for a short interview with our General Manager Uwe Reinecke and the Lord Mayor Marco Müller.
As every year, the day ended with a concert in the Gröba church, which rounded off the event in a special way, The duo 'Vi va Ce' performed in collaboration with the Elbland Philharmonie Orchestra and provided an atmospheric finale with their performance. As every year, the concert was free of charge and offered visitors a wonderful opportunity to round off the day with music.
Conclusion: Bella Gröba was once again a complete success this year. We would like to thank all hard-working helpers who made the festival possible with their commitment and dedication, as well as all the guests who contributed to its success with their good humor and enjoyment. Bella Gröba has once again shown how much fun it is to celebrate together and do good.
We are already looking forward to next year and to experiencing this special event with you all again!
